These exercises stem from my training across multiple modalities: Pilates, strength training, yoga and physical therapy techniques. For this program, expect gentle, focused movements that go DEEP! We work in a variety of positions: on your back, hands and knees, on the wall, side-lying etc. Many of the exercises I would categorize as “pre-Pilates,” meaning that they are slightly more gentle and postpartum-friendly, giving you the foundation you need to do more advanced core work.
The breath and form are top priority of each movement and cued thoroughly. Each exercise has a tutorial you can watch and practice as many times as you’d like!

The combination of exercises, breath and posture work promote healing and rehabilitation for DR. Many women do fully heal their DR with Core Reclaim, and almost everyone sees dramatic improvement.
As no two bodies are the same, what works for someone is not guaranteed to work for someone else. Healing a DR is completely dependent on YOUR body and YOUR needs. I have seen core work heal a diastasis, but I have also seen strengthening the arch of the foot be the missing piece that allows the DR to heal.
Because I am not able to assess your individual body with this course, it would be unfair to make that promise. I do not believe it is possible to have a self-directed course promising to fully healing a diastasis.
